About Me

My name is Nuno Carvalho. I graduated from an American high school in 2021. My sophomore year, I self-studied AP Chemistry in my own time and scored a 5 on the AP Exam. That same year I also self-studied most of AP Psychology and got a 5 as well. My junior year, I self-studied AP Macroeconomics and scored a 5. My senior year, I self-studied AP Physics C: Electricity & Magnetism and also scored a 5. I should mention that I had taken AP Physics C: Mechanics in school my junior year, so I had experience with AP Physics leading into my senior year where I self-studied E&M.

I created this website because I prepared extensively for the E&M exam my senior year and I felt that my knowledge of what resources to use, what questions to expect on the exam, and where to find official exam questions would be wasted if I never shared them with the world. Thus, in the summer of 2021, I created this website to help any future student hoping to self-study the traditionally hardest AP STEM course offered.

Since then, I received a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech in Spring 2024, and starting in Fall 2024, I will be starting a PhD in Bioinformatics at Harvard Medical School. My research interests are in human genetics and epidemiology.

If you have any questions, contact me through my email address below (it's an image so bots can't easily read it). I am usually pretty quick to reply and can answer questions related to other AP courses as well! And if you used my website and it helped you, I would love to hear about it!
